How does subscription billing work at HeyNearby?

Free plans are free; we won't ask for payment information. When you pick a paid plan, you'll be prompted to enter your payment information (any credit or debit card should work). And that's it. You'll be billed monthly for each coming month. 

And if I want to cancel or downgrade my plan?

No problem. Just go to the Plans tab and choose whichever plan you want to move to (free or smaller plan). We'll pro-rate a refund or apply credit to your account if still on a paid plan. 

And that's just as we like it - no contracts, no muss, no fuss. You don't have to talk to anyone. 

Is my payment information secure?

The short answer is "yes." We don't handle or store your payment information on our servers. All of it is handled by Braintree which is a part of Paypal, one of the world's most trusted and established payments solutions. Braintree is a validated Level 1 PCI DSS compliant service provider. Cardholder data is managed in the Braintree Vault, using multiple encryption keys with split knowledge and dual control. A data thief would not be able to make use of information stolen from a database without also having the key. This data store cannot be connected to via the internet. 

I have several business accounts on HeyNearby. Can I pay with different credit cards?

You sure can. When you get to the Payments page, just click "Add another credit card" and you can select which card to use for each business account.
